"I go by the moniker of Jonny Fairplay... I don't play fair." - Jon Dalton

Who is Jon Dalton, and why do we love him so much?

He is a contestant on the Survivor: Pearl Islands. And like Ted Dibase, we hope he ends up being the Million Dollar Man.

His favorite TV shows are WWE Smackdown and Raw. Although I would venture to say, like everyone else, he thinks Raw sucks these days.

His favorite publication is the fantastic Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter. I hear Jim Cornette is very passionate about The Torch too!

He also used to be a part of Portland Organic Wrestling which seems to be some drugged out, fringe of society, nightmare version of 'real' wrestling.

Jonnyboy used to work as a production assistant for the deranged whacko Rowdy Roddy Piper.

For news on Jon and the others, Survivor Fever is the undisputed champion. Only one complaint about the site: not enough Fairplay.

For even more news on Fairplay and the others, Survivornews.net is just as good as survivorfever. The same complaint though: not enough Fairplay.

For yet even more news on Jonny, Sir Linksalot is not to be outdone. You'll find some other curtain jerker websites about Jon, but remember:  we are the main event.

12/07/03 Jason's Bitching

American TV viewers are easily led automatons
and this is just one example as to why...

I don't get is the Average American Survivor Viewer (ie: my mother). I mean, Jon is the most hated castaway and he wants it that way, so that's cool. But why is this God amongst men so hated? Take Sandra for example. Her popularity is 72%. This is the second highest (save Rup). Now bear in mind last week- she is the one that destroyed their food supply and THEN let her supposed friend and ally take the f'ing fall. I bet Christa was pissed to find that out on national television last week, and I don't blame her.

But don't get me wrong- I find nothing wrong with the way ANY of the players play the game. Even peanut butter and chocolate Tag-along Lil. If it gets her a million dollars, she did it the right way. Boring as all hell, obviously, but if you play by the rules and it results in victory I don't care if you throw out the fish, fake your Granny's death, or claim to have murdered your parents and scarred your poor brother in a fire when you were a kid. Playing Fair means playing within the rules and however you achieve victory, no matter how low down and dirty is fine.

The only thing that makes me happy about America's inability to see this, is that Jon wants it this way.

Burton said it best at Tribal Council:

It's part of the game. You've got to deceive people. You have to make 'em think one thing and do another. I mean, It's just like any competitive game.

You're trying to fake out the other team, and you're trying to get farther at their expense.

Well, said, brother man. I hope those American marks were listening. But then again, they were probably all Hulkamaniacs 15-20 years ago and they cannot formulate an objective, thoughtful opinion about anything. They'll take whatever spoon-fed garbage they're offered by the producers.

Full update will be posted this Sunday, make sure you book mark us (if you haven't already) and come back. We'll have tons of great clips and thoughts on the episode. But more importantly, as we wind down, we'll have my personal picks the most likely scenarios for the endgame (of course they all involve Jon).

If you're new to the site- make sure you check out the previous episodes, but I must warn you. If you don't know anything about wrestling it'll probably make no freaking sense to you. And, if my calculations are correct, you've been reading this site for about... THREE MINUTES...

It's Sunday now, and I just haven't had time to update. Just make up the stuff yourself and then comeback Monday evening- see how close you were to my stupid comments.)
